What it is +

A walled car seat for small and medium dogs. It straps to your rear headrest and sits on one side of the back seat, so your dog has their own spot and the mud, fur and accidents stay off your upholstery.

In the box: the pod, a removable base board, two headrest straps and an inside leash clip.

Which size? +

Small (56 × 56 cm base): toy and small dogs up to about 9 kg.
Large (73 × 56 cm base): small-to-medium dogs up to about 18 kg, like cavoodles, spoodles, beagles and frenchies.
Both have 40 cm front and side walls and a 55 cm back. Dog over about 18 kg? The Back Seat Deck is made for bigger breeds.

Fitting and cleaning +

Loop the two buckles around the rear headrest, drop the base board in and tighten. About a minute, no tools.

Most mess wipes straight off the waterproof fabric. For a proper clean, unclip it, lift out the board, fold it flat and hand-wash the cover.

Will it fit my car? +

If your back seat has headrests, almost certainly. The Large takes about 73 cm of seat width (roughly half the back seat) and the Small about 56 cm. It works in hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and dual-cab utes.

Which size do I need? +

Small suits toy and small breeds up to about 9 kg, like Maltese, Shih Tzus, toy poodles and Jack Russells. Large suits small-to-medium dogs up to about 18 kg, like cavoodles, spoodles, beagles and frenchies. For bigger breeds like Labradors or kelpies, see the Back Seat Deck.

How do I clean it? +

Most mess wipes straight off the waterproof fabric. For a proper clean, unclip it, lift out the base board, fold it flat and hand-wash the cover.

Is it a safety restraint? +

No. It's a comfort seat that keeps your dog contained and off the floor. It hasn't been crash-tested, so always clip your dog's harness to the inside leash clip or a seatbelt tether.
