Fit and sizing

Will it fit my car?

If your back seat has headrests, almost certainly. The Large pod takes about 73 cm of seat width (roughly half the back seat) and the Small about 56 cm. It works in hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs and dual-cab utes.

Which size do I need?

Small (56 × 56 cm base) suits toy and small breeds up to about 9 kg, like Maltese, Shih Tzus, toy poodles and Jack Russells.
Large (73 × 56 cm base) suits small-to-medium dogs up to about 18 kg, like cavoodles, spoodles, beagles and French bulldogs.
Both have 40 cm front and side walls and a 55 cm back.

My dog is bigger than 18 kg. What should I get?

The Back Seat Deck. It turns the whole back seat into one flat platform for bigger breeds like labs, kelpies, staffies and goldens.

Can someone still sit in the back?

With the pod, yes: it sits on one side of the back seat, so the other side stays free. The deck covers the whole seat, but one side folds back when you need it.

Using it

How does the pod go in?

Loop the two buckle straps around the rear headrest, drop the base board in and tighten. It takes about a minute with no tools, and comes out just as quickly.

Will it protect my seats?

That's a big part of the point. The waterproof base catches mud, wet fur and the odd accident before it reaches your upholstery.

How do I clean it?

Most mess wipes straight off. For a proper clean, unclip it, lift out the base board, fold it flat and hand-wash the cover.

Is it a safety restraint?

No. Our seats keep your dog contained and off the floor, but they haven't been crash-tested. Always clip your dog's harness to a seatbelt tether.
