One sharp brake and they're in the footwell.
You know the sound. Claws scrabbling on the seat, a thump on the floor mat, then that look up at you from behind the headrest.
Or they've decided the front looks better and they're halfway between you and the handbrake.
Then there's the mess. Muddy paws all over the upholstery. Fur worked into every seam. And the one nervous accident on the way to the vet that soaks into the seat and never quite smells right again.
